Due to their unique photocatalytic properties, nanostructured photocatalysts have shown broad prospects for application in environmental treatment. In recent years, researchers significantly enhanced the charge separation efficiency and stability of by regulating semiconductor energy band structures, optimizing interface surface constructing heterogeneous introducing noble metal doping. This review systematically summarizes basic principles, synthesis methods, modification strategies focuses on research advances applications, such as water pollution control, air purification, carbon dioxide reduction. Meanwhile, this analyzes current challenges field, low quantum efficiency, insufficient stability, limited industrialization, outlines future development directions, including smart catalytic technology, fabrication multifunctional composites, large-scale synthesis, thereby providing a reference application.
