Abstract
Atrial
fibrillation
(AF)
is
a
common
arrhythmia
associated
with
severe
outcomes
like
heart
failure
and
stroke.
Recent
studies
highlight
the
crucial
role
of
T
in
AF.
Clinical
have
observed
elevated
levels
CD4
+
CD28
null
cells,
Th17/Treg
CD8
related
markers
peripheral
blood
or
atrial
tissue
AF
patients,
correlating
disease
severity
cardiovascular
events.
These
cell
subsets
contribute
to
through:
(1)
releasing
inflammatory
factors
TNF-α
IL-17
which
affect
calcium
homeostasis
electrical
activity
myocytes
and/or
promote
fibrosis;
(2)
recruiting
cells
such
as
macrophages,
causing
local
inflammation,
oxidative
stress,
remodeling;
(3)
secreting
cytotoxic
proteins
perforin
granzymes,
inducing
apoptosis
affecting
their
action
potentials;
(4)
direct
contact,
influencing
myocyte
electrophysiology.

Background
The
association
between
the
Neutrophil-to-Lymphocyte
Ratio
(NLR)
and
prognosis
of
Atrial
Fibrillation
(AF)
has
been
extensively
studied,
yet
clinical
outcomes
have
varied.
Consequently,
this
analysis
was
undertaken
to
explore
link
NLR
prognostic
markers
AF.
Methods
We
conducted
an
exhaustive
search
across
electronic
databases,
including
PubMed,
Embase,
Web
Science,
Cochrane
Library,
investigate
correlation
indicators
adverse
associated
with
AF
from
database
establishment
date
through
March
31,
2024.
In

outcome
