Controversial conclusions have been drawn from recent researches that examined the impact of keratinized mucosa width on clinical parameters peri-implant health status. The purpose this meta-analysis is to assess effect these by combining data different studies. A systematic literature search was performed using PubMed, Web Science, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI), and VIP Data beginning database until May 2024. Mean difference (MD) along with 95% confidence interval (CI) were calculated for plaque index (PI), gingival (GI), bleeding (BI), probing depth (PD), attachment level (CAL) bone loss (BL). Q test I2 statistic used determine heterogeneity. Publication bias evaluated Begg's Egger's test. total 30 articles included meta-analysis. Implants adequate (≥ 2 mm) presented significantly reduced PI (MD: -0.30, CI: -0.42 -0.17), GI -0.26, -0.38 -0.13), BI -0.20, -0.33 -0.07), BL -0.27, -0.12). Although significant heterogeneity detected among studies, sensitivity analysis further demonstrated robustness results. keratinised around dental implants associated accumulation, tissue inflammation, loss.

Background/Objectives: With the increasing use of dental implants in edentulous patients and high prevalence peri-implantitis, understanding its microbial risk factors is crucial. This study investigated Romanian from two private clinics Cluj-Napoca, Romania, diagnosed with focusing on identifying predominant bacterial species at affected sites compared healthy implant sites. Additionally, we examined impact such as smoking, gender, age, prosthetic restoration type disease prevalence. Methods: cross-sectional study, conducted between January 2023 December 2024, included randomly selected who met predefined inclusion exclusion criteria. We enrolled 22 50 study. Data collected medical records, clinical evaluations, microbiological assessments were subsequently entered into a computerized database. Clinical data analyzed using Social Science Statistics software(Jeremy Staangroom 2018). Bacterial samples assessed, incubated, identified Vitek 2 Compact System (BioMérieux, Marcy-l' Étoile, France). Results: Peri-implantitis incidence was found to be independent more prevalent mandible, equally smokers non-smokers. The involves complex polymicrobial infection, pathogenic bacteria triggering condition opportunistic sustaining it. Conclusions: infection that arises interaction strict bacteria. results intricate interactions local, systemic, factors. Identifying causes essential for developing effective treatments, future research emphasizing role progression.

Patients frequently seek dental information online, and generative pre-trained transformers (GPTs) may be a valuable resource. However, the quality of responses based on varying prompt designs has not been evaluated. As implant treatment is widely performed, this study aimed to investigate influence design GPT performance in answering commonly asked questions related implants. Thirty about dentistry - covering patient selection, associated risks, peri-implant disease symptoms, for missing teeth, prevention, prognosis were posed four different models with designs. Responses recorded independently appraised by two periodontists across six domains. All performed well, classified as good quality. The contextualized model worse treatment-related (21.5 ± 3.4, p < 0.05), but outperformed input-output, zero-shot chain thought, instruction-tuned citing appropriate sources its (4.1 1.0, 0.001). had less clarity relevance compared other models. GPTs can provide accurate, complete, useful While enhance response quality, further refinement necessary optimize performance.

Introduction: Osteoblastic responses play a crucial role in the success of oral implants. Enhanced proliferation osteoblast cells is associated with reduced cell mortality and an increase bone regeneration. This study aims to evaluate osteoblastic following implantation. Materials Methods: Osteoblast stem were harvested subsequently cultivated using culture techniques. The phenotype extracted was confirmed by examining extracellular matrix. Cell morphogenesis on functionalized biomaterial surfaces assessed through indirect immunofluorescence staining. cellular response investigated presence two types implant materials: titanium (Ti) alumina-toughened zirconia (ATZ). viability apoptosis quantitatively MTT assays flow cytometry, respectively. Results: survival lineage moderately post-implantation. Viability Ti group remained at approximately 86%, while ATZ group, it observed 75%, which considered acceptable. Moreover, there significant disparity between groups (p < 0.05). Analysis levels various concentrations revealed that rate 3.6% control 18.5% indicating or programmed death ATZ-treated had increased nearly four-fold Conclusions: findings this indicate reduction line treatment, implants exhibiting superior performance terms survival. However, also noted incidence significantly higher zirconium-based
