Abstract Background: Breastfeeding is a critical component of infant and young child nutrition, providing essential nutrients, immune protection fostering healthy growth development. However, Insufficient understanding the contextual determinants that affect breastfeeding duration limits effectiveness promotion programs policies. This study determined prevalence factors associated with for at least 6, 12, 24 months in Rwanda. Methods: analyzed cross-sectional data from 2019-2020 DHS collected November 9, 2019, to July 20, 2020, using multi-stage sampling strategy. We used STATA 17 analyze univariable, bivariable, multivariable levels. The logistic regression model was find factorsassociated months. Results: Of 3,685 women who ever gave birth, majority (65.0%) had attained primary education, nearly half (47.1%) were aged 25 34 years old, all (97.2%) by time study. Moreover, about 75.9% breastfed their babies 6 months, 54.7% 12 while only 17.6% up or more. Firstly, higher likelihood baby among mothers 25-34 [aOR: 1.4 95% CI: 1.1-1.7], currently working 1.8 C.I: 1.5-2.2], catholic 1.5 1.1-1.9], lower number children household 1.6 1.3-1.9] zero 1 child, those receiving parenting religions 1.1-1.7]. Secondly, more include decreasing education level 3.4 folds 1.2-9.7] no living other provinces than Kigali city [aOR ranging 1.7 1.8], consulted Nurse Midwife during antenatal care services 1.9 1.0-3.4], (0 1) 1.3 1.0-1.7]. Lastly, encompass increasing age mother 35 years+ being times 15-24 years[aOR: 2.9 1.5-5.6], 5 period marriage cohabitation 2.6 1.5-4.5], [aOR:1.6 1.1-2.3], Zero 2.0 1.5-2.8], partners 2.9], history taking iron supplements pregnant 1.1-2.1]. Consequently, 3.6 2.4-5.4] have without anemia. Conclusion: All all, these findings highlight importance promoting extended through targeted interventions, including parental workplace support policies, improved maternal nutrition programs. Encouraging paternal involvement ensuring adequate supplementation pregnancy can further enhance outcomes.

Background Inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) commonly affects patients of reproductive age. The effect activity on the outcome pregnancy and its impact neonatal health are areas intense research. Methods Α national retrospective study pregnancies in women with IBD between 2010 2020 was carried out 22 reference centers Greece. Results In total 223 175 [122 Crohn’s (CD)] were included. Mean age at diagnosis 26 years (12–44) a mean duration 7.4 (0–23). Pregnancy as result IVF occurred 15 cases (6.7%). At beginning gestation, 165 (74%) under treatment: 48 (29%) anti-tumor necrosis factor alpha agents, 43 (26%) azathioprine, 101 (61%) 5-aminosalicylates, 12 (7%) steroids. Forty-nine (22%) flares recorded: Two-thirds ( n = 30) clinical remission onset pregnancy, whereas treatment corticosteroids required (45%). Patients ulcerative colitis greater risk for flare compared to those CD P < 0.001). All but two (99.1%) resulted an uncomplicated delivery. 147 (67.1%), c-section performed. Two late fetal deaths (0.9%) reported, both persistently active disease. After delivery, 75 (34%) presented flare, associated Conclusion majority Greek have favorable outcome.
