Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a degenerative disorder characterized by progressive cognitive decline and memory loss. The few contemporary therapies may ease symptoms and/or slow down AD progression but cannot cure the disease. orally administered drug donepezil hydrochloride enhances availability of acetylcholine that supports cholinergic neurotransmission. In this paper, generalized Hodgkin-Huxley model proposed uses Caputo fractional order temporal derivatives to link action potentials viscoelasticity receptors. provides not only structurally dependent for health also possible mechanism effect on potentials: binding between receptors preserves structural fitness these addition, pharmacokinetic transport brain incorporates controlled release modalities. are used again anomalous release. Numerical simulations show how recovers integrity which further brings abnormal due their healthy state. results suggest combining various modalities dosages improve treatment effectiveness with donepezil.
