Global trends in environmental protection place emphasis on the reduction of CO2 emissions, a key factor greenhouse effect. Commercial power generation, mainly based coal, is largest emitter CO2, which justifies work its reduction. Technologies involving capture from flue gases adsorption methods are not yet widely used, and therefore, there lack complete data their impact units. With use computer simulations, relevant information can be obtained, eliminating need for costly tests actual systems. A model reference unit separation system was developed IPSEpro environment. Simulations were carried out, analysing parameters such as temperature pressure gas bled steam efficiency system. Optimal desorption conditions determined, then integrated into unit. The analysis units indicates that while an 830 MWe technically feasible, it results substantial losses high energy consumption. Capturing liquefying leads to output approximately 358 15.4% decrease efficiency. Simulation analyses allowed operation assessed amount non-emitted estimated, thus reducing harm plant.
