The interaction between plants and frugivores plays a critical role in sustaining ecosystem function community diversity, but little is known about the structure of networks fruit frugivore birds urban green spaces. Keystone components in green urban spaces can make a big difference supporting either impoverished or rich animal communities. Trees that produce thousands of flowers at densities higher than herbs and much more nectar the latter be such keystone structures. However, there is lack specific information on trees, both native alien, their flower visitors urban/suburban contexts, which blurs conservation role species perform. In 2019 2020, we thoroughly recorded to silk-floss tree suburban Guadalajara, Mexico. To our knowledge, this first comprehensive inventory visitors. We documented 79 species/morphospecies insects; eight birds, one mammals visiting flowers. All, except two, are region; three endemic/quasi-endemic Besides direct indirect floral resources, offered perches, resting/hiding cover, nesting substrate, seed fibres used by several feeding substrate for gleaning insectivorous birds. Four listings: monarch butterfly (endangered), pink-spotted swallowtail (vulnerable), sparkling-tailed hummingbird (threatened), lesser long-nosed bat (near-threatened). Our data supports small patches enhance quality spaces, rather geographic origin, output drives visitation. Alien trees pollination enhancement ‘devices’ imperilled networks. Silk-floss potential option conservation-oriented greening, as well contribute enhancing human enjoyment nature, provide opportunities public outreach.
