Artemia,
also
known
as
brine
shrimp,
are
important
organisms
in
the
aquaculture
industry
due

salinity

two

from
geographical

we
attempt
to
clarify
a
faunistic
composition
of
branchiopods
from
southern
Tajikistan
and
the
part
Tajik
Pamir
Plateau
(Central
Asia)
based
on
samples
collected
June
24
July
6,
2023.

total,
19
species
were
identified

identifications
corrected
four
more
taxa.
Morphological
traits
taxonomic
position
several
discussed
detail,
namely
two
abovementioned
anostracan
taxa,
Eulimnadia
behningi
Smirnov,
1949
(Spinicaudata),
Coronatella
rectangula
(Sars,
1861)
(Anomopoda).
To
date,
list
includes
77
valid
branchiopod
Plain
is
inhabited
by
both
boreal
tropical
species,
what
indicates
its
geographic
edge
Palearctic.
