The aim of the present work was to determine antimicrobial and antioxidant activities Clausena anisata essential oil. extraction oils performed by hydro distillation method with a Clevenger apparatus. determination chemical composition conducted gas chromatography coupled mass spectrometry. Then activity assessed using disk diffusion micro titration. In order 2 methods were carried out: free radical scavenging assay DPPH+ (2,2-diphenyl-1-picrylhydrazyl) ABTS reagents (acid2, 2'-azynobis-[3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6 sulfonic acid]). yield oil 0.77%. study its revealed E- anethol (70.77%), methyl iso eugenol (13.85) as major compounds. anti-radical DPPH test SC50 1g/L; 0.265g/L respectively for tests. results also highlighted potent property. An screening susceptibility Candida albicans isolates at concentration 8000 ppm. This characterized minimum inhibitory concentrations 2000 ppm all tested pathogenic yeasts Sab1, Sab2, Sab3, Sab250, Sab2501, Sab256, Sab259 Sab290. (MIC) lower than MIC fluconazole. same observations resulted fungicidal effect. These data can be used starting point subsequent studies produce antifungal drugs face challenge resistance oxidative stress.
