Organic dyes-based photothermal agents (OPTAs) have received increasing attention as alternative to inorganic materials due their higher biocompatibility and extensive diversification. Maximizing nonradiative deexcitation channels is crucial improve the conversion efficiency (PCE) of OPTAs. This typically achieved through individual molecular design or collective enhancement using supramolecular strategies. Furthermore, therapy (PTT) generally relies on linear one-photon absorption light source by OPTA, with less consideration given nonlinear two-photon (2PA) strategies, despite potential benefits. Here, a synergistic strategy, which combines intramolecular intermolecular quenching, employed maximize diphenylamino-substituted distyryl dicyanobenzene (DSB), an outstanding two-photon-absorbing chromophore. One three DSB units been introduced conic

Background/Objectives: The aim was to study the possibilities of biomedical application gadolinium oxide nanoparticles (Gd2O3 NPs) synthesized under industrial conditions, and evaluate their physicochemical properties, redox activity, biological safety using different human cell lines. Methods: powder Gd2O3 NPs obtained by a process thermal decomposition carbonate precipitated from nitrate solution, studied transmission electron microscopy (TEM), X-ray diffraction (XRD), Raman spectroscopy, mass spectrometry, scanning (SEM) with energy dispersive analyzer (EDX). activity concentrations optical spectroscopy (OS) method in photochemical degradation methylene blue dye upon irradiation an source. Biological on lines (keratinocytes, fibroblasts, mesenchymal stem cells (MSCs)) evaluation effect wide range NP metabolic proliferative cellular (MTT test, direct counting, dead assessment, visual assessment cytoarchitectonics). test migration model wound performed MSC culture. Results: According TEM data, size 2–43 nm, average 20 nm. XRD analysis revealed that f had cubic structure (C-form) (Ia3)¯ lattice parameter = 10.79(9) Å. showed high degree crystallinity. By investigating photooxidative presence red light irradiation, it found weak antioxidant which depended particle content solution. At concentration 10−3 M, highest observed when reaction rate constant photodegradation decreased 5.5% 9.4 × min−1. When solution increased 10−2 M source, changed pro-oxidant accompanied 15% increase degradation. Studies level regenerative potential NPs, stimulated fibroblast metabolism at (27% enhancement), keratinocyte M–10−5 enhanced proliferation 35% 10−4 M. Furthermore, accelerated MSCs, enhancing proliferation, promoting healing wound. Conclusions: results demonstrated redox-active towards This may be basis for further research develop nanomaterials based skin medicine generally.
