This
work
aims
to
investigate
the
utility
of
positron
emission
tomography/computed
tomography
(PET/CT)
with
fibroblast
activation
protein
inhibitors
(FAPI)
in
urological
neoplasms,
including
prostate
cancer,
urothelial
carcinoma,
and
renal
cell
carcinoma.
Although
available
data
are
very
preliminary,
FAPI
PET
showed
potential
for
detecting
primary
cancer
low
prostate-specific
membrane
antigen
expression,
while
PET/CT
outperformed
biochemical
recurrence.
In
demonstrated
increased
detection
rates
compared
deoxy-2-[18F]fluoro-d-glucose
PET/CT,
particular
small
lymph
node
metastases,
whose
identification
is
still
an
unmet
clinical
need.
Limited
conclusion,

a
promising

Background/Objectives:
Over
the
past
four
years,
68Ga-fibroblast
activation
protein
inhibitor
(FAPI)
positron
emission

tertiary
cancer
care
facility

Jordan.

retrospective
study

tracer
uptake
metrics
across
various
epithelial
neoplasms,

diagnostic

staging

patients

tumors

examinations

gastrointestinal

pancreaticobiliary
exhibited
highest
uptake,
mean
maximum
standardized

tumor-to-background

(TBR)
surpassing

grade

Abstract
The
discovery
of
fibroblast
activation
protein
inhibitor
positron
emission
tomography
(FAPI-PET)
has
paved
the
way
for
a
new
class
PET
tracers
that
target
tumor
microenvironment
(TME)
rather
than
itself.
Although
18
F-fluorodeoxyglucose
(FDG)
is
most
common
tracer
used
in
clinical
imaging
cancer,
multiple
studies
have
now
shown
family
FAP
ligands
commonly
outperform
FDG
detecting
cancers,
especially
those
known
to
lower
uptake
on
FDG-PET.
Moreover,
FAPI-PET
