Tumid lupus erythematosus (TLE) is a rare subtype of cutaneous lupus, which can present diagnostic challenges due to its overlapping features with other skin disorders. Understanding the clinical and histopathological characteristics TLE essential for accurate diagnosis management. In this article, we describe case in 45-year-old man who presented annular, urticarial, non-scarring plaques on scalp associated alopecia affected area. The patient had long history lesions intermittent resolution no systemic symptoms. On examination, erythematous, edematous, non-scaly occipital temporal regions, hair loss was observed these areas, consistent alopecia. Dermoscopy revealed arborizing blood vessels background erythema, scaling, atrophy, or follicular plugging. A biopsy confirmed diagnosis, revealing characteristic periadnexal perivascular lymphocytic infiltrates dermal mucin edema. Laboratory tests showed decreased C4 complement level, though autoimmune markers were within normal limits. symptoms signs (SLE). treated topical clobetasol dipropionate 0.05% ointment, resulted rapid improvement lesions.
