This meta-synthesis crosses international borders by analyzing successful principalship across nine countries. With careful, detailed, systematic, and analytic synthesis, it critically explores research-informed understandings of principal leadership over the last 20 years. The paper is an interim report reviews 85 articles 23 chapters produced International Successful School Principal Project (ISSPP), largest, longest-running research project in this field. In that project, success defined as principal’s ability to grow sustain students’ academic, personal, social developments achievements time. results add existing knowledge how school principals achieve examining high-quality, published case study evidence from Australia, Cyprus, Israel, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden, Spain, UK, US. Results suggest common sets core values, qualities, practices among principals, regardless national contexts, conditions, or cultures. Because design multi-perspective multi-layered, studies also show significant, context-informed differences timing, pace, extent application improvement strategies. Thus, findings synthesis paint a thorough cohesive picture who are what they do time at global level success, navigate values-led different contexts phases within complex internal external ecological chrono-, macro-, exo-, meso-, microsystems.

Las participantes coincidieron casi unánimante con planteamientos formulados por estudio plantearon necesidad contar mayor preparación apoyo ejercer referido rol.

Faculty trust in educational leadership is a linchpin of schools’ functionality and efficacy. Teachers’ their school leaders can significantly influence the work environment, teacher retention student achievement. Our study, which employed comprehensive mixed-methods approach, including 1320 questionnaires interviews with 40 teachers 5 principals, has identified eight practices, behaviours actions (Fairness, Respect, Consistency-Reliability, Trusting Teachers, Setting Example, Competence – Organisation, Confidentiality, Open Door Support) that foster robust leaders. These findings are not just insights but practical suggestions principals implement to enhance faculty trust. By applying these insights, create more trusting improving Furthermore, policymakers use develop training initiatives promote growth trustworthy locally internationally.
