Recent findings from person-centered interest research call for an expansion of knowledge about development, particularly with regard to multiplicity interest. The current study used a smartphone application track the multiple interests 309 Dutch emerging adults over three-year period, which included transition between educational institutions or into labor market. Results growth mixture model (GMM) show four different trajectories development: Continued Exploration ( n = 31), where youth continually explored interests, Diversity 102) and Selectivity 106), pursued diverse select set Gradual Specialization 70) reported decreasing number time. These suggest that development should be described not only as deepening decline one interest, but also exploration, continuation specialization interests.
