Climate
change
is
one
of
the
most
urgent
issues
our
time.
Its
increasingly
visible
effects
make
it
a
global
worry
and
chronic
stressor,
especially
for
specific
developmental
targets
such
as
young
adults.
This
study
outlines
process
Italian
adaptation
validation
Change
Coping
Scale
(CCCS),
an
instrument
that
examines
three
distinct
coping
strategies
addressing
climate
change.
Study
I,
conducted
with
sample
230
adults
(42.6%
males;
57.4%
females),
explores
latent
structure
using
Exploratory
Factor
Analysis
(EFA)
Parallel
(PA)
preliminary
psychometric
properties
CCCS.
A
500
(38.6%
61.4%
females)

selected

Confirmatory
