The Q-problem is a new lightweight and hard mathematical problem that resists quantum attacks. It depends on putting one known value two unknown values per equation; whatever the operator, defines certain conditions between equations. This paper presents key exchange protocol based Q-problem. To protect secure end-to-end communication over public transmission channel, proposed mechanism consists of rounds exchanging totally random numbers, which ensure shared secret parties at end. Security analysis proves robustness proposal experiments prove its lightness during implementation, making it promising hybrid solutions an assistive technique for transition to era.
