With the rising number of electric vehicles (EVs), intelligent charging become an significant issue for infrastructure supplying power. Therefore, this paper presents a novel approach autonomous robot power transmission EV. Firstly, the existing two-dimensional registration technology applied to images was extended three-dimension, and new point cloud algorithm proposed obtain real-time pose at vehicle’s coordinate system. A global path planning obstacle avoidance algorithms were navigation, focusing on structured road environments. The ArUco code used locate port, multi-stage PID control strategy adjust attitude make it face port. Integrating fuzzy theory with impedance enhance compliant robot's plug-in action. Experiments are performed robot, results which demonstrate feasibility effectiveness method.
