Many years after the introduction of quantum-dot-sensitized solar cells (QDSSCs), publications related to it have been widely disseminated in scientific archives. In this study, a bibliometric analysis was conducted examine bibliographic content indexed Science Citation Index Expanded database from 2000 2021. Over past two decades, 1557 articles published field QDSSCs, covering studies on photoanode, cathode, and electrolytes system. The most active journal, Electrochimica Acta, has 6.48% total number publications. three productive nations are China, South Korea, India, accounting for 47.4%, 13%, 9%, respectively, top 20 nations. Through keyword analysis, our findings suggest that scholars focused controlling optical electrochemical properties materials, studying power conversion mechanisms, investigating other internal kinetic mechanisms QDSSCs. authors institutions also classified based their performance over decades determine intellectual base. This study assesses general progression QDSSC research may provide baseline information help identify trends
