The backfill mining method is adopted in many mines around the world because it can reliably handle underground mine tailings and eliminate dangers goafs. It necessary to improve backfilling resource allocation efficiency, thereby eliminating safety hazards providing reliable support for next stage of as quickly possible. In this paper, we propose a backfill-scheduling optimization model that considers multiple processes, constraints, operating capabilities. purpose minimize exposure time This NP-hard (Nondeterministic Polynomial-time hard) problem has non-inferior implemented solution through iterations genetic, crossover, mutation operations genetic algorithm. results show significantly reduces backfilling-delay backfilling-operation time.

Industry 4.0 represents a crucial technological revolution for the modernization and competitiveness of companies, offering tools that enhance efficiency, productivity, sustainability industrial processes. Adopting these technologies is essential, especially in sectors such as mining, where their implementation can radically transform operations. This study investigates adoption among mining non-mining companies Chile, using data from Survey Access Use Information Communication Technology Companies. A Principal Component Analysis (PCA) identified main variables influencing adoption. The results indicate are significantly more advanced integrating ERP, SCM, Big Data, which optimize operational processes strengthen competitiveness. In contrast, show dispersed adoption, could limit capacity innovation. These findings underscore importance developing differentiated public policies promote SMEs less sectors, also encouraging development internal capacities collaboration between businesses government to accelerate digital transformation.

Achieving the energy and climate goals of sustainable development, declared by UN as imperative relevant for upcoming Society 5.0 with its human-centricity technological requires ensuring a “seamless” Fourth Energy Transition, preserving but at same time modifying role fossil fuels in economic development. In this regard, purpose review is to analyze structure publications field platforms future (Energy 5.0), digital human-centric modernization investment fuel extraction context Transition. To achieve goal, presents comprehensive overview research determining prospects within 5.0, characterized not only dominance renewable sources zero CO2 emissions, also introduction technologies Industry (the Industrial Internet Everything, collaborative artificial intelligence, triplets). It was concluded that further such areas development vector investment, achieving reducing emissions mineral extractive sector itself, developing capture utilization important promising
