Global climate change imposes significant challenges on the ecological environment and human sustainability. Industrial parks, in line with national mitigation strategy, are key targets for low-carbon revolution within industrial sector. To predict carbon emission of parks formulate strategic path reduction, this paper amalgamates benefits “top-down” “bottom-up” prediction methodologies, incorporating logarithmic mean divisia index (LMDI) decomposition method long-range energy alternatives planning (LEAP) model, integrates Tapio decoupling theory to emissions an park cluster economic development zone Yancheng from 2020 2035 under baseline (BAS) scenarios (LC1, LC2, LC3). The findings suggest that, comparison BAS scenario, LC1, LC3 decreased by 30.4%, 38.4%, 46.2%, respectively, being most suitable pathway park’s development. Finally, explores sources, analyzes reduction potential optimization measures structure, thus providing a reference formulation strategies parks.

Globally, countries are legitimizing actions to curtail the malevolent impacts of environmental degradation. This study examined interaction between CO2 emissions and selected economic variables within framework Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030. The Autoregressive distributed lag model (ARDL) was used analyze long-run relationships short-run dynamics studied (1970–2020). Mann-Kendall (MK) test revealed a significant (p < 0.05) positive increase GHGs from all sectors across KSA. highest increased were captured at electricity heat by 7345454.47 tonnes carbon dioxide-equivalents/year 0.05). On hand, ARDL indicates that GDP, agriculture, industry, services, oil production have short-term effects on environment through emissions. Therefore, services contribute increases in While industry contributes decrease also showed an GDP 1 percent 3.46 percent, while 4.04 percent. However, decreases 7.25 output this research has policy implication for addressing concerns country.

Industrial parks, characterized by the clustering of multiple factories and interconnected energy sources, require optimized operational strategies for their Integrated Energy Systems (IES). These not only aim to conserve industrial users but also relieve burden on power supply, reducing carbon emissions. In this context, paper introduces an optimization strategy tailored clustered factories, considering incorporation trading supply chain integration throughout entire production process each factory. First, a workshop model is established factory, accompanied consumption that accounts strict sequencing integration. Furthermore, unit models are devised IES then low-carbon economically scheduling outlined within park, aiming minimize total cost, including cost trading. Finally, case studies conducted paper-making park located in Zhejiang Province. Various scenarios compared analyzed. The numerical results underscore model’s economic merits, it offers technical support conservation emission reduction fields.
