Since the reform and opening up, imported solid wastes have pushed China's economic growth while also bringing about serious environmental problems. In this context, China has introduced a ban on "foreign waste" for waste. Based provincial panel data from 2010 to 2020, paper calculates Green Total Factor Productivity (GTFP) of manufacturing industry measure level green development sector, evaluates comprehensive impact by using continuous Difference-in-Differences method. The study finds that foreign waste greatly promotes greening mechanism analysis shows stimulates innovation effects increases production cost effects, policy effect heterogeneity as it is more prominent in coastal areas, areas with lower proportion or higher development. This result suggests promotion domestic recycling should be accompanied further guidance efficient factor mobility, different measures based regional heterogeneity.

The United States is the world's second-largest polluter, generating 4.7 billion metric tons of CO2 in 2020. To combat it, US targeting a precise goal 50–52 percent decrease net emissions from 2005 levels by 2030. Hence, it vital to determine critical factors contributing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). With this motivation, study examines dynamic link between green energy transition, eco-innovation, economic policy uncertainty, use, growth, and sectoral (SCO2) 1980 2020 using novel Quantile-On-Quantile Regression (QQR) Granger causality quantile approaches. results show that quantiles transition are positively related all SCO2 quantiles. While eco-innovation marginally favorable lower higher quantiles, positive slope coefficients showcase effect uncertainty on 0.2–0.95 Similarly, use showed negative across whereas QQR growth throughout Suggests investment also reduces delivering for sectors if SDG-7 executed

This study investigates the relationship between technological innovation, renewable energy, economic growth, and carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions in a group of six specific Middle East North Africa (MENA) countries from 1990 to 2019. The utilizes modified innovation environmental Kuznets curve model (ICC) theory examine potential existence an inverted U-shaped quality these selected MENA countries. Various econometric methods are employed analyse data. results show positive significant impact patents for residents on CO2 emissions, affirming influence quality. Additionally, square demonstrates negative with providing evidence U shape Claudia’s theory. These findings imply that ICC is relevant countries, quadratic patent variable suggesting use innovative technology initially increases but reaches turning point after certain threshold.

Abstract Sustainable agriculture practices are necessitated for environmental, population, and resource conservation. Embracing sustainability can enhance food security, preserve ecosystems, help combat climate change, aligning with the United Nations Development Goals (SDGs) such as SDGs 2, 7, 13. Given that, study explores agricultural land, green innovation, production, renewable energy, trade openness impact on global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions while interacting innovation top 20 countries from 1980 to 2021. The utilized innovative methods including method of moments quantile regression, Dumitrescu, Hurlin 2012 causality also robustness DKSE, NWSE, ridge regression applied. findings unveil that production escalate GHG throughout quantiles. While openness, interaction between land reduce emissions. Additionally, DH shows a bidirectional causal association among variables. Whereas is confirmed by regression. This research significantly contributes 13, offering comprehensive framework crafting effective policies balance productivity environmental sustainability. As world's producers confront evolving challenges, this lays out roadmap toward resilient ecologically conscientious future.
