Purpose The increasing energy consumption in residential buildings poses significant challenges to sustainability, economic efficiency, and environmental health. Despite the availability of numerous energy-saving strategies, their adoption remains inconsistent due various barriers such as cost, awareness technical limitations. This paper aims assess strategies mitigating high buildings. Design/methodology/approach study adopted a quantitative research methodology. A carefully developed questionnaire was distributed group 20 Delphi experts collect data. These possess extensive experience areas use, management savings. also issued end users gather collected data were analyzed using descriptive analysis. Findings results indicate strong preference for certain measures, with energy-efficient appliances, occupant behavior adjustments heating, ventilation air conditioning (HVAC) system upgrades emerging most frequently strategies. Measures installing smart thermostats windows ranked highly, reflecting perceived effectiveness reducing consumption. However, like weatherizing power strips less implemented, suggesting lower prioritization or adoption. findings further emphasize importance HVAC-related maintenance upgrades, highlighted by top rankings frequent while simpler actions, insulation turning off lights, despite potential Research limitations/implications study’s limitations include reliance on self-reported data, bias participant responses lack consideration contextual factors regional climate, socioeconomic conditions technological access that may influence measures. Originality/value is distinctive its integration method questionnaires holistically evaluate measures excessive use structures. By integrating expert consensus empirical from diverse contexts, it provides comprehensive nuanced understanding effective practices.

This study investigates the influence of digital skills, personal innovativeness, and attitudes toward smart home adoption on consumer behavior in Poland, as well relationship between activity environmental awareness. In context growing interest sustainable development responsibility, research aims to identify psychosocial technological determinants conscious online behaviors. The employs a structured survey (n = 1246) using validated scales, which were analyzed through Confirmatory Factor Analysis (CFA) Structural Equation Modeling (SEM). findings reveal that innovativeness is strongest predictor behavior, followed by skills and, lesser extent, adoption. Moreover, digitally active consumers demonstrate significantly higher levels awareness, suggesting engagement fosters pro-environmental attitudes. Gender differences observed strength these relationships, with having greater impact women’s while technology more relevant among men. These results contribute understanding responsibility its implications, highlighting importance competence openness promoting consumption patterns.

This paper examines the key factors influencing relationship between domestic energy consumption and renewable adoption in Tunisia, based on a survey of 1000 participants from various sectors, including students, teachers, social media users. The findings reveal that while 65% households report high consumption, mainly due to heating air conditioning, only 35% have adopted energy-efficient technologies. Although 80% express concern about climate change, 45% understand connection personal use environmental impact. Additionally, 70% respondents show positive attitude toward solar energy, but 60% cite installation costs as significant barrier. focuses potential communities (PECs), particularly rural areas, where 75% showed interest. study emphasizes need for comprehensive strategy combining education, policy frameworks, community-driven solutions reduce increase use. Concrete recommendations are provided support sustainable transition with focus enhancing autonomy preservation through PECs.

It obvious that order reduce energy consumption, lower carbon footprint activity sensitize sustainability digitization industry, lossless compression aforementioned datasets good solution. this article, new format clouds—3DL—is presented, effectiveness which compared with 21 available formats can contain A total 404 processes were carried out validate 3DL file format. The validation was based four clouds stored LAS files: two files derived from ALS (airborne laser scanning), one local coordinate system other PL-2000; obtained by TLS (terrestrial same georeferencing (local national PL-2000). During research, each saved 101 different ways 22 formats, results then several (according system, data, within single time processing). validated solution (3DL) achieved CR (compression rate) around 32% 42% while best solutions reached 15% 34% TLS.
