ABSTRACT The review presents the techno‐economic analysis of renewable energy systems based on bioenergy and wind energy. Previous studies in this area research deal with hybrid systems, focusing grid electrification as most efficient solution. However, there is a need to look at stand‐alone system for remote areas, usually used power single house or small communities. Economic metrics indicators study include investment cost, payback period, internal rate return, net present value, so forth. During review, it was observed that software technical analysis, such optimization model clean management platform, analytical demand, matrix laboratory, are commonly study. Findings from revealed period discount less than 15 years 10%, respectively, 20% return electricity production cost within range 0.0085–0.1 kWh. Notably, levelized below 10 $/kWh. Finally, policy implications recommendations future attention benefit government, policymakers, stakeholders were also presented.
