The size of a company is fundamental factor that can influence its efficiency. In larger companies, economies scale are key consideration. objective this study was to evaluate the technical efficiency agricultural biogas plants differentiated according their capacity power. included 43 plants, which were divided into three groups power: group I, <0.5 MW; II, 0.5–1 III, ≥1 MW. order assess under research, Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) method applied. It found largest most efficient. However, smallest not statistically significantly different from plants. This indicates small entities achieve at satisfactory level. For reason, in development policy optimal solution coexistence large and facilities. more sensitive changes macroeconomic environment than other may suggest need pay attention energy mechanisms stabilize performance periods disadvantageous conditions.
