The drying kinetics and physical chemical characteristics of Leucaena esculenta seed using a forced convection solar dryer are described. behavior is examined for three experiments under climate conditions different winter days in central Mexico, observing significant effects related to the reported pH levels seeds with values 6.34, 5.98, 5.97, 5.82, 6.07. airflow measurements inside chamber were observed, including geometric dimensions, color, appearance, weight, moisture loss, effective diffusivity coefficient Deff between 1.23 × 10−7 8.09 10−9 m2s. Solar drying, technology used this study, viable alternative give added value esculenta. This study can be basis developing alternatives preserve animal human consumption.
