The digital transformation of the maritime sector, driven by Industry 4.0, is reshaping port operations toward smarter and more sustainable models. This paper analyzed implementation Port 4.0 technologies in Spanish system through lens Blue Ocean Strategy. By redefining competitive boundaries applying tools such as Four Actions Framework value innovation curves, study proposes a new strategic vision where ports collaborate rather than compete. Key enabling (such Big Data, IoT, AI, Blockchain) were assessed for their capacity to optimize energy use, reduce emissions, enhance operational efficiency. findings highlight potential unified, data-driven ecosystem that creates uncontested market space while promoting environmental economic sustainability.
