Aluminum 7075 alloys are widely utilized in aerospace, transportation, and marine industries due to their high strength low density. However, further research is needed understand mechanical, thermomechanical, vibrational behaviors when reinforced. This study focuses on the development of Al composites reinforced with zirconium silicate (ZrSiO4), processed via sand stir casting. The mechanical properties, including tensile, compression, impact strength, as well thermomechanical behaviors, were thoroughly investigated. A planetary ball mill was used mix ZrSiO4 a wettability agent, results indicated that addition agent significantly enhanced properties. Fourier Transform Infrared Spectroscopy (FTIR) employed identify compounds formed after adding reinforcement agent. Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM) images Energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis revealed uniform distribution particles within matrix. strengths increased by 20%, 21%, 19%, respectively, 8 wt% ZrSiO4; however, strain decreased. Additionally, heat treatment properties composites. showed improvement even at elevated temperatures, damping factor ZrSiO4. elemental composition analyzed using EDX, confirming presence reinforcement. highlights potential 7075-ZrSiO4 for improved performance various applications.
