Plant-, animal-, municipal-, and industrial-based biomasses are the sustainable sources of energy that available in large quantities. However, their transportation storage costly, improper waste management causes negative effects on environment. Effective biomass ensures long-term feasibility natural resources for development reduces dependence nonrenewable sources. Various physical, thermal, chemical biological methods solid liquid waste. The conversion can be achieved through pyrolysis, liquefaction, combustion, gasification, anaerobic digestion, fermentation, transesterification methods. These conversions generate value-added, environment-friendly products such as fertilizers, biogas, biofuels.

Waste management and recycling have led to numerous studies on particleboard production. This study attempted use milled corncob (MCC) waste ceramic tiles (WCTs) produce particleboard. The MCC (100−70 wt.%) WCT (0–30 were mixed at different ratios, compressed a pressure of 0.25 MPa using urea formaldehyde (UF) resin as adhesive. physicomechanical thermal properties the particleboards produced investigated. physical (bulk density, water absorption, thickness swelling) improved with composite compared 100% increase in yielded density lowered particleboard’s absorption swelling. mechanical tests showed that MOE values below recommended standard, which makes them unsuitable for structural use. However, MOR revealed above standard. conductivity was reduced increased WCT, required standard found be met. Hence, are helpful wall insulators. Based experiments done, sample R7 (70% 30% WCT) considered most preferable since it achieved performance. partitioning other internal external purposes.

The global impacts of fossil fuels have driven governments and companies to investigate other methods energy production for the benefit society. utilization biomass in validates possibility replace non-renewable sources energy. Bioenergy is obtained from a wide variety sources, including rice husks, bagasse, wood chippings, sawdust. This article presents an examination techniques employed conversion into that suitable practical applications, ecologically friendly also rates at which power consumed worldwide.
