Rapid determination of the moisture content is usually required for control testing soil materials used in construction earthworks such as embankment dams and roads. This Investigation examines reliability accuracy microwave drying method determining different types conditions; soils considered included clean, silty clayey sand clay with low to very high degrees plasticity. Many calibration tests were carried out on samples carefully prepared investigate main factors that affect oven; these include time, total mass specimens, arrangement specimens inside oven type testing. The standard methods applied perform many initially at conditions from seven other types. analysis study results yielded relationships an extremely correlation between data measured by two test procedures all tested. Using developed relationships, was performing more than 500 while constructing a 1.2 km earth length Al Garah 2 dam heightening. proved be convenient accurate means quickly (15 min).

India, the center of origin and country with largest area black pepper cultivation in world has a low crop productivity general. Furthermore, Kerala, traditional region India broadest area, is also one zones country. Therefore, critical analysis cause Kerala was hypothesized to be crucial analyzing problems globally. Accordingly, random survey current diversity cultivated soil types two different state carried out. A physicochemical parameters concerning natural variabilities such as agroclimatic zones, varieties, types, mode cultivation, pepper-cultivated fields seasons part study. The measured were field water content (FWC), pH, total organic carbon (TOC), available nitrogen (SAN), phosphorous (SAP), potassium (SAK). revealed that 29 varieties are most intensively over main orders, Ultisols Inceptisols, which included 13 series. commonly Karimunda (traditional cultivar) Panniyur 1 (improved variety). latter, widely variety region, showed amplitude FWC, TOC, SAN, SAP, SAK. In general, pepper-growing an acidic high moderate SAK significant seasonal fluctuations. As model study, it enabled us trace reasons for Kerala. Overall, study fruitful generating soil-related other data production, will beneficial farming worldwide.

The foliar application of micronutrients can improve primary nutrient uptake. As a result, treatments reduce fertilizer rates and help to maintain the natural health soil. Here, we report on tentative implementation this approach in an apple orchard located temperate climate (JSC “Dubovoye” 52°36′57.1″ N 40°17′04.1″ E; planted 2002 according 6 × 4 m or 417 trees ha–1 cultivar (cv.) Bogatyr grafted B118 (Budagovskii 118). Manganese augmented nitrogen content and, certain seasons, phosphorus, whereas zinc enhanced potassium. Low-rate chemical fertilizers (once 5 years) background initial high-rate organic fertilization (60 t manure) allowed us retain optimal soil pH experimental orchard.

Limestone mining removes topsoil and produces overburden piles, which is improper for plant growth. The objectives of this study were to compare the texture, certain chemical properties, bacterial population observe effects compost amendment on growth corn seedlings potted overburden. characterization was performed using a quantitative descriptive method with purposive sampling. Samples taken from 6-month-old pile pine-vegetable agroforestry ecosystem. data further analyzed by Student’s t-test. A bioassay set up in randomized block design various concentration treatments five replications. results showed significant differences between characteristics, counts recorded. more acidic had higher organic carbon, potential phosphorus, potassium, cation exchange capacity, while levels calcium; however, total N Magnesium content similar. lower than topsoil. 16 gram-negative one gram-positive bacteria have been identified both samples. Applying huge amounts enhanced seedlings' suggested that unfertile compared Therefore, improvement properties needed green area.
