Amidst severe ecological challenges and resource constraints, realizing the value of products—such as timber, non-timber forest products, ecosystem services like carbon sequestration biodiversity conservation—has emerged an innovative approach within realm paying for services. This study examines 35 cases product realization in China, using a comprehensive analytical framework encompassing policy support, market participation, endowment utilization. Utilizing qualitative comparative analysis method (cs-QCA), explores driving mechanisms behind realization. These findings indicate that guidance planning are indispensable value. Additional factors, such fiscal financial leadership from pioneering enterprises, innovation promotion, utilization both natural human resources, play varying roles across different grouping paths to degrees. The uncovers following three typical mechanisms: government-led; government–market hybrid; integrated type. reveals each region should choose appropriate path based on its unique conditions. research significantly enhances theoretical understanding provides scientific foundation formulation practical applications.

The bay area contains terrestrial forests and coastal mangroves with vital ecosystem functions, which provide essential services such as carbon sequestration biodiversity maintenance. Meanwhile, the usually hosts intensive socioeconomic activities. High-intensity anthropogenic activities in have threatened marine environment. Harmonizing relationship between conservation, environmental governance, development is crucial for realizing national “coordinated land development” strategy promoting sustainability area. This study constructed a coupling coordination assessment system of ecosystem, system, system. Taking Fujian River Delta case study, multiple ecological models were integrated to quantify degree these three systems present its spatial distribution characteristics. Guangxi is a typical ecological resource-rich and economically underdeveloped region in China, facing the issues of uncoordinated economic development. In order to achieve synergistic enhancement background protection value transformation, as well promote sustainable social development, it particularly important clarify spatiotemporal evolution intrinsic influencing mechanisms forest product (FEPV) Guangxi, understand their characteristics developmental advantages. For this study, FEPV was calculated based on multi-source data, its were analyzed, main factors identified using geographic detectors, spatial heterogeneity explored Geographically Temporally Weighted Regression (GTWR) model. The results showed following: (1) From 2010 2020, total amount exhibited an upward trend, with average annual growth rate 9.45%. Regarding composition FEPV, regulating service contributed most, while supply cultural had great potential. pattern “high north low south”, Guilin being extreme area Hechi Baise high-value areas. (2) single-factor detection results, dominant affecting elevation, forestry primary output value, temperature, explanatory power relatively weak. bivariate factor interaction combination precipitation ∩ coverage, elevation degrees (qs) 0.89, 0.90, 0.87, respectively. (3) Annual coverage positively correlated influence intensity generally increased from south north. Population density negatively general, negative trend periphery center. research provide reference for realization green low-carbon transformation related industries similar regions.
