The nutritional composition of bamboo shoots varies significantly across regions, yet the precise environmental drivers and underlying molecular mechanisms remain poorly understood. In particular, influence soil properties climatic factors on key metabolic pathways regulating shoot quality has not been systematically examined. this study, we investigate determinants nutrient accumulation in Lei (Phyllostachys violascens) by integrating analysis, profiling, transcriptomics. We identified organic matter, total porosity, longitude as primary influencing nutrition, with higher matter correlating enhanced content. Transcriptome analysis revealed that conditions regulate pathways, including starch metabolism (e.g., BGLU, SPS) flavonoid biosynthesis PAL, 4CL), ultimately shaping quality. Based these findings, developed a predictive model linking factors, gene expression, traits, providing foundation for precision cultivation strategies. This study provides novel insights into plant-environment interactions governing nutrition offers actionable strategies region-specific cultivation, aligning consumer demand healthier bamboo-based products.
