Growing interest has been shown in biomass obtained from agricultural and forestry resources as a sustainable feedstock for variety of uses, such the creation bioproducts, generation bioenergy, sequestration carbon. Understanding these renewable resources’ physicochemical characteristics finding solutions to problems posed by their management transportation are essential if we use full potential. In review study, various sources—including crop wastes forest biomass, which includes wood, branches, other byproducts—are explained. It reveals how components affect whether is suitable particular uses examining complex composition elements, including cellulose, hemicellulose, lignin, extractives. Additionally, it talks about biomass’s structural characteristics, particle size, porosity, density, conversion processes combustion, gasification, pyrolysis. preprocessing methods that increase energy lower costs, handling effectiveness, size reduction. Maximizing resource usage product diversity with feedstocks, algae waste materials, also being investigated. This in-depth examination explores many facets characterization considers this information supports value addition, appropriate management, efficient transportation.
