Upper mesophilic temperature acclimation of halophilic, hydrogen-producing bacteria from salt fields was investigated in this study, along with the changes microbial abundance during an-aerobic digestion (AD) process. Genomic approaches such as PCR-denaturing gradient gel elec-trophoresis (DGGE) and next-generation sequencing (NGS) were performed to profile mi-crobial communities. During AD, there a significant Halanaerobacter lacunarum at 48°C followed by increase hydrogen yield, signifying potential contribution halophile production. A decrease dominance H. Halan-aerobium fermentans 42°C, likely due an other bacterial species, noted but their significantly increased temperatures 45°C 48°C. This investigation provides valuable insights highlighting Halanaerobium sp. halo-philic adapt under upper conditions synthesizing hy-drogen. The findings present study also underscore importance optimizing temper-ature pH maximize yield high-salt anaerobic digestion.

Anaerobic digestion (AD) is an effective method to generate renewable energy from domestic wastewater via biogas production. AD heavily dependent on temperature since it impacts the microbial communities, which in turn determines stability of process. This study investigated how community structure changed during a stepwise upshift 37 °C 41 fed-batch serum vials using digested sewage sludge as inoculum and glucose-based substrate. Results showed that there was 9% decrease methane production when shifted ºC 39 ºC. Despite lower yield, content at higher than ºC, followed by 41% CO 2 condition indicates activity hydrogenotrophic Methanobacterium consumed produce syntrophic Acetomicrobium acetate support acetoclastic methanogen, dominated Methanothrix . The abundance methanogens declined significantly after These findings exhibited certain range temperatures; growth inhibited further led decline overall despite versatility acetogens their supports.

Biogas production offers an alternate method for managing agricultural waste and contributes to sustainable renewable energy generation. Anaerobic digestion (AD) enables the transformation of organic waste, including substrates, into biogas, mostly consisting methane, carbon dioxide, trace gases such as ammonia hydrogen sulphide. The objective this study was employ a 30 L semi-continuous stirred tank reactor evaluate effects loading rate, temperature, speed stirring on biogas production. inoculated with 8.6 filled 11.4 mixed substrate cattle manure, potato starch fruit expired dry dog food. evaluated rates (OLRs) 11.2, 12.2, 13.2 g VS/L d, speeds 25.5, 35.5, 45.5 rpm. results indicated that maximum yield 12.2 d at rpm, in thermophilic conditions, surpassed mesophilic measuring 105,860 NmL/g VS compared 69,800 VS. This emphasises significance optimising operational parameters improve output, thereby contributing resources advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
