Using plants to treat human diseases is very old and has evolved throughout history. Flueggea virosa Newbouldia laevis are two plant species acclimatized in Benin used Africa several such as malaria, liver diseases; fever, migraine, diarrhea, dysentery, intestinal worms, diabetes, sexually transmitted diseases, etc. In this work, we studied methanolic hydroethanolic leaf extracts from those species. Phytochemical screening was determined by the Hounton Raman methods, antimicrobial activity of evaluated microdilution method. The properties were examined on five bacteria strains. phytochemical analysis revealed presence alkaloids, polyphenols, tannins, flavonoids, anthocyanins, coumarins, mucilages, reducing compounds, bound anthracene derivatives (O-heterosides C-heterosides). Quinonine absent leaves Flueggea virosa, but present laevis. addition, contained saponosides, triterpenoids compared Moreover, enclosed no cardenolides, cyanogenic well as, free leuco-anthocyanins derivatives. Evaluation strains included study showed better results (minimum inhibitory concentrations between 31.2 1000 μg/mL), specifically with extract that a Minimum Inhibitory Concentration (MIC) equal μg/mL against reference strain Staphylococcus aureus ATCC 12600. Alkaloids are predominantly nitrogen-containing heterocyclic compounds that usually isolated from plants, and sometimes insects or animals. one of the most important types natural products due to their diverse biological activities potential applications in modern medicine. Cyclic imines were chosen as starting for synthesis alkaloids high synthetic potential. Thus, this review summarizes achievements various cyclic imines, paying special attention stereoselective methods used preparation. Information on activity some alkaloids, application occurrence objects is presented. Synthesis classified based type alkaloid obtained.
