Due to the negative impacts dye may have on aquatic habitats and human health, it is often found in industrial effluent poses a threat public health. Hence, solve this problem, study developed magnetic adsorbents that can remove synthetic dyes like methylene blue. The adsorbent, form of beads, consists polymer blend chitosan, polyethylene glycol, polyvinyl alcohol, polyvinylpyrrolidone, superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (average size 19.03 ± 4.25 nm). adsorption desorption MB from beads were carried out at pH values 7 3.85, respectively. At concentration 9 mg/L, loading capacity amount after 5 days peaked 29.75 1.53% 297.48 15.34 mg/g, Meanwhile, entrapment efficiency reached 29.42 2.19% 8 mg/L. cumulative adsorbent 13 was its maximum 7.72 0.5%. kinetics evaluated.
