Coastal erosion has posed significant challenges to sustainability and socio-economic stability along Senegal’s coastline, leading substantial infrastructure losses. Using GIS multi-criteria decision analysis (MCDA), two sub-indices were derived for coastal departments: the physical susceptibility (PSI) social-economic vulnerability (SVI) erosion. The integrated (ICER) model was by their aggregation. A total of 26 criteria used, 18 PSI 8 SVI. weighting coefficients determined using analytic hierarchy process (AHP). Validation accuracy performed receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves that calculated based on a created cadaster true positive (TP) sites manually acquired negative (TN) sites. assessment confirmed consistency proved existing are within (5) very high areas. Through generated ICER, departments divided into areas (1) low, (2) (3) medium, (4) Very classes cover around 31% departments, mostly encompassing narrow strip low river valleys mouths. presented maps, with spatial resolution 30 m, identified problematic in can help decision-makers construction effective zone management sustainable development.
