Abstract Background Very few studies compared the rates of child psychiatry diagnoses between initial phase pandemic and pre-pandemic records in clinical samples. This study from Istanbul aimed to compare adolescent psychiatric admissions diagnosis first three months pandemic, previous same year year. Abstract Supportive family relationships may mitigate the impact of Covid19 pandemic on young children's adjustment, but existing work is limited by its focus within‐country variation and parental influences. Addressing these gaps, drawing reported buffering effects older siblings child mental health (Lawson Mace, 2010), current international study examined whether adjustment problems were, average, elevated this effect would be maintained. In first wave (April to July 2020), 2516 parents 3‐ 8‐year‐old children living in Australia, China, Italy, Sweden, United Kingdom, States America—six countries with contrasting governmental responses pandemic—completed an online survey about experiences as indexed ratings Strengths Difficulties Questionnaire (SDQ: R.
