The purpose of this study was to analyse the literature on economic barriers related autism spectrum disorder (ASD) using bibliometric methodology. It also aimed contribute understanding research trends aspects ASD. relevant obtained from WoS database and analysed Bibliometrix package via R Studio. dataset covered years 2003-2024 95 articles were accessed. selected documents visualized MS Excel Biblioshiny applications. findings showed that first article about in written 2003 last 5 accounted for more than half literature. Information most publishing journals, universities countries cited publications obtained. repeated words child burden with 28 repetitions, while expenditures prevalence shared second place 14 repetitions each. Purpose In response to the challenges posed by social environment, numerous individuals with autism use coping strategies, engaging in a phenomenon known as “camouflaging” mask their distinctive traits. Despite growing attention directed toward this area of study, date, there are no bibliometric studies delineating evolution research theme.
