Background: Human Monkey Pox (HMPX) is a zoonotic disease caused by the pathogenic agent Monkeypox Virus (MPXV) and remains global health burden. Results: The findings showed that participants had average (Χ2=1.080, p>0.05). Many positive towards (Χ2=67.22, p<0.001). Based on gender, male better (Χ2=17.32, p < 0.01), whereas attitude both genders (Χ2=24.87, p<0.01). MBBS Pharm D demonstrated (Χ2=81.058, 0.01) while DPT toward Conclusion: Knowledge emerging pandemics needs be improved professions. In recent decades, the rise of zoonotic diseases has emerged as a significant human health concern, highlighting interconnectedness and animal within framework “One Health” (OH) concept. This study, conducted in Italy 2023, sought to gauge general population’s awareness OH while identifying influencing factors. Additionally, it aimed assess an Mpox virus vaccine, particularly pertinent due 2022 outbreak across Europe. The online cross-sectional study encompassed 1058 participants, revealing that 54.26% were unfamiliar with zoonoses. Median knowledge scores 12 points (IQR = 9–15) for zoonoses 8 6–11) OH. Notably, factors such age, economic situation, healthcare employment, educational level, literacy significantly influenced scores. Merely 26.8% participants aware existence workers, individuals engaged animal-related work, non-heterosexual men demonstrating higher awareness. findings underscored limited public understanding One Health, variations observed specific demographic groups.
