Cardiac calcification is common in adults with congenital heart disease, typically affecting surgical sites and prosthetic material. Understanding the precise location degree of important during decision-making process prior to possible intervention but can be difficult determine different imaging modalities. Advances three-dimensional (3D) modeling printing have made it distinguish tissue types accurately display them colors on printed models. We present two adult disease patients where advanced 3D was used demonstrate cardiac aided preprocedural planning process.

Background: Coronary artery calcification is a predictor of adverse outcomes after percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Intravascular lithotripsy (IVL) promising tool for the treatment calcified lesions. The aim this study was to assess effectiveness and safety IVL. Methods: A single-center observational PCI procedure, with assessment patients undergoing using IVL, performed. Angiographic procedural success used as primary endpoint. endpoint defined composite cardiac death, myocardial infarction target vessel revascularization within 30 days. Results: total 111 were included. Indications spanned spectrum chronic (53.2%) acute syndromes (43%). Lesion preparation before IVL performed non-compliant (42%), cutting or OPN (14.4%) balloons atherectomy techniques in 11% procedures. imaging 21.6% achieved 100% 3.6% Peri-procedural complications minimal successfully resolved. Conclusions: an effective safe technique These findings contribute growing body evidence supporting use management these challenging scenarios.
