Abstract Artificial intelligence (AI) has become a buzzword around the globe. For many, AI was once contained in high-tech labs and now been released out into world for rest of us to use. Generative AI, which is what Microsoft, Apple, OpenAI have recently offered, only one version – probably with most ‘curb appeal’. In fact, dates 1950s offered much more banal by today’s standards innovations. This case study represents an effort demystify popular notions take first baby step toward developing literacy among international development practitioners. We offer two cases courses that we developed build appropriate bridges future, show not like discovery fire gift from gods but rather technology forward data analytics.
