The “SmartCaregivers” 1.0 mobile application is a beacon of hope for caregivers (CG) in rural areas, often facing limited access to facilities and support. This study, conducted from February August 2021, aimed comprehensively analyze the need developing database system tailored enhance caregiver support resource management long-term dependent individuals areas Maha Sarakham province, Thailand. research followed rigorous development (R & D) approach, specifically ADDIE model (analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation). Data were collected 402 10 key informants through surveys interviews, as well during implementation evaluation phases. application’s impact was assessed using quasi-experimental design with one-group pre–post-test, its acceptance evaluated technology (TAM). significantly improved caregivers’ knowledge scores, mean increase 10.49 ± 2.53 12.18 2.76 post-intervention. High scores perceived usefulness (4.36 0.62) ease use (4.31 0.59) reassure audience about effectiveness providing rapid health information, aiding decision-making, improving care coordination. quality also highly rated, users appreciating variety functions structural design. potential transformation improvement instills optimism future caregiving areas.
