This study aimed to investigate differences in the leaf biomasses, chemical compositions, and pharmacological activities of Turpinia arguta histocultured seedlings live at different harvesting periods (S1, S2, S3, S4) order determine optimal period. Eleven indexes, including biomass, key active components, secondary metabolites, nutrient content, antioxidant activity, were evaluated by high-performance liquid chromatography colorimetric methods during periods. The weights 11 indexes calculated principal component analysis, then a comprehensive quality evaluation was performed. results showed significant contents, between highest score obtained for S4 period, indicating that T. best this time period most suitable At (S4), medicinal higher than those seedlings, importance tissue culture technology enhancing arguta. provides more novel abundant information reference determining appropriate arguta, with aim providing newer scientific guidance management herbs.
