This study aims at monitoring real-scale Ecohydrodynamics ditches hardly covered by riparian stands, through analysis their reflectance signature. A system composed a cruising drone thermographic camera was employed in present experimental study. Once main average turbulence traits were measured directly field, correlation between plant's Leaf Area Index (LAI) thermal properties studied to assess impact drone-based thermometry methods techniques on predictions flow trends waterways.

The many hydrodynamic implications associated with the geomorphological evolution of braided rivers are still not profoundly examined in both experimental and numerical analyses, due to generation three-dimensional turbulence structures around sediment bars. In this research, 3D velocity fields were measured through an acoustic Doppler velocimeter during flume-scale laboratory runs over emerging sand bar model, reproduce conditions real rivers, Turbulent Kinetic Energy (TKE) components analyzed discussed here detail. Given three-dimensionality water flow proximity bar, statistical analysis octagonal bursting events was applied analyze discuss different structures. main novelty study is proposal Hole Size (3DHS) analysis, used for separating extreme observed from low-intensity events.

It has drawn growing attention to retrieve heavy metal concentration in naturally contaminated arable soil by its spectral reflectance. However, such a reflectance is generally affected various elements, posing significant challenge ensure the inversion accuracy for specified concentration. The Deep Forest 2021 (DF21) algorithm shows excellent performance deep learning, which provides potential method hyperspectral with high precision. This paper takes Chromium (Cr) and Zinc (Zn) concentrations as examples, it explores DF21 retrieving of soil. By so doing, pretreatments Principal Component Analysis (PCA) are applied Subsequently, obtained data, combined DF21, used establish models. Further, performances established models compared identify optimal one Cr Zn concentrations. results show that pretreatment could potentially impact accuracy, but exerts little or even negative on once PCA applied. As result, together original spectra processed PCA, i.e., ORI-PCA-DF21 model, optimum both also found concentration, relatively lower degree heterogeneity, higher suggesting spatial heterogeneity affect model.

Abstract Dual thermal bands capability of Landsat 8 allows for retrieving land surface temperature (LST) which is essential in agricultural and environmental studies. Accuracy LST retrieval depends upon capturing emissivity (ε) with precision. Scientific community have different approaches to determine using ε as one the inputs. This research evaluates Twumasi, SEBAL, Stathopoulou over alluvial plain Northern India. determined help these OLI/ TIR data from 8-12-2021 12-11-2023, were validated ground observations air recorded Eddy covariance measurements, a highly sophisticated precise techniques turbulent flux measurements. It also presents an attempt modify approach estimate single band 10 instead 11. Results revealed that SEBAL yielded better estimates than approach. Improved value error statistics like mean error, bias absolute relative root square good values Willmott index agreement, Nash-Sutcliffe efficiency, Pearson correlation coefficient observed between obtained modified Hence, use compute recommended enhance quality decision-making process.

As the main driving force of global climate change, land use and cover change (LUCC) can affect surface energy balance interaction between atmosphere.
