Abstract. The aim of this study was to investigate the motivations Romanian Masters athletes train for endurance running in order participate half-marathon competitions. research method used survey. This tool consisted a questionnaire that purposely developed present research. Out 111 experienced respondents practising 13 years on average, 61.8% are men and 38.2% women. results different mainly focused reaching state well-being (67%) both (67.2%) women (66.7%); there significant differences between 35-44 55+ age categories (t = 2.776, p < 0.01). motivation has contributed maintaining improving physical performance with aging. Women more motivated than run health benefits. Objective: This study analyzed the association between mood states and Overtraining Syndrome (OTS) in young athletes possible differences OTS considering competitive level age groups. Methods: In total, 219 athletes, aged 13 17 years old (M = 14.81; SD 1.35), were considered for analysis this study. Results: The results demonstrate that there is a positive significant relationship depression, maladjustment to training, confusion (negative) tension with OTS. Significant also found states, anger depression at level, (positive) according age. Conclusions: These data indicate, not only, negative OTS, as well existence of levels groups, therefore, it necessary take these variables into account. Objetivo: Este estudio analizó la asociación entre los estados de ánimo y el Síndrome (SOT) en deportistas jóvenes las posibles diferencias SOT considerando nivel competitivo grupos edad. Métodos: En atletas jóvenes, con edades años DT fueron considerados para análisis este estudio. Resultados: Los resultados demuestran que existe una relación positiva significativa depresión, inadaptación al entrenamiento, confusión (negativa) tensión SOT. También se encontraron significativas ánimo, ira depresión competitivo, (positiva) e según Conclusiones: Estos datos indican, no solo, negativos SOT, así como existencia niveles competitivos edad, por lo es necesario tener cuenta estas variables. In spite of the negative effects anger, coaches are often seen becoming angry during games. This is especially worrying in U18 categories. Thus, objective this study was to identify influence that coach's anger has on performance a basketball team competition. The aim of this article is to study the relationships between training effort master athletes (+35 years), performed by endurance running in order participate events and their self-esteem. research method was investigation. tool used a questionnaire especially created for that also contains Rosenberg Self-Esteem Scale. Out 111 participants, 62.2% are men 37.8% women. Men make great (>12 km/training) 2,229 days/week, compared women, who 1.46 resulting significant difference (t = 2.53, p <0.05). results revealed statistically correlation self-attitude changes health (r=0.46, =0.01) self-esteem attitude practicing small intensity weekly (< 8km/workout), (r =0.218, p=0.05).
