With the outbreak of Corona Virus Disease 19 (Covid-19) in late 2019, governments increasingly imposed containment strategies, including social distancing as well restricted population movement, potentially having negative impacts on mental and physical health. Since its discovery in December 2019, coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has been affecting humanity economic, social, physical, and psychological manner. During COVID-19, the older population needs special consideration since they have a greater risk of developing serious illnesses. We used narrative review approach to identify relevant articles. PubMed, Scopus, Google Scholar databases were searched for following keywords: (mental health OR mental illness(es) anxiety depression irritability) AND (elderly people aged 60 years or more) (Covid-19 pandemic chronic diseases) (mitigate manage). In initial search, we found 948 articles related our search string, only 33 studies included this review. The results demonstrated that elderly is more prone issues associated with COVID-19.
