Accreditation
standards

training
programs
promote
trainee
wellness
and
well-being,
although
constructs
such
as
psychological
distress
depression
commonly
serve
proxies
well-being.
A
direct
measure
of
subjective
well-being
would
be
invaluable
to
inform
efforts
trainees’
advance
the
study
construct
itself.
This
investigated
structural
validity
measured
by
Well-Being
Scale
in
a
sample
548
osteopathic
students.
Results
confirmatory
factor
analysis
indicated
is
best
represented
bifactor
model
with
general
five
domain
factors
allowing
items
from
two
domains
cross
load
brought
significantly
stronger
model-data
agreement.
Some
scale
were
respecified
become
pure
indicators
based
on
their
patterns
loadings,
final
an
acceptable
fit.
To
our
knowledge,
this
among
initial
research
investigate
use
holistic
instrument
student
population.
The
direct,
multidimensional
foundational
programs’
future
investigations
predictors
students’
longitudinal
analyses
over
matriculation.
