Measuring the degree of regional coordinated development and analyzing factors affecting are great significance for assessing status formulating strategies. The advancement remote sensing data big provide possibility to measure on a more precise scale. aim this study is use multiple sources construct evaluation indicator system level analyze mechanism development. All 200 counties (districts) in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei Region selected as area. By measuring county units region from 2012 2017, it found that although synergy at Beijing, Tianjin Hebei increased, overall still low level. spatial panel model further used influence all counties. conclusion with promotion policy, excessive government intervention, imbalance market allocation past have been alleviated. However, weaknesses process obvious. population density urban size become constraints opening outside world investment ecological environment construction far enough. The Yellow River Basin is one of the most important economic development belt and ecological management regions in China, it vital importance to study coupling coordination between protection high-quality development. This study adopts a sustainable development perspective to examine the economic and ecological coordinated progression spatial disparities across 30 regions in China from 2011 2022. Firstly, detailed analysis of CCD reveals that coordination between ES (economic subsystem) EES (ecological environment has been rising annually. However, overall level remains relatively limited. Second, kernel density estimation (KDE) shows degree various exhibits considerable variability, with disparity becoming increasingly pronounced. Third, trend surface (TS) indicates there exist regional variations EES. Specifically, east experiences an upward trend, while west downward trend. Similarly, south increase, whereas north demonstrates decrease. With ongoing development, it observed stable east–west direction; however, is increasing. Fourth, global Moran’s I pronounced positive autocorrelation. Finally, local Jiangsu, Fujian, Anhui, Jiangxi provinces exhibit significant high–high clusters, three Xinjiang, Gansu, Ningxia have always low–low clusters.

The rise of mass tourism has encouraged rapid economic growth; meanwhile, the eco-environmental system come under increasing pressure. To achieve sustainable development, it is critical to deeply explore relationship and evolution characteristics between three subsystems: tourism, economy, eco-environment. This study aims develop a more comprehensive indicator for evaluating coupling coordination degree (CCD) tourism-economy-environment (TEE) using statistical data from nine cities in Pearl River Delta (PRD) urban agglomeration 2010 2019. We investigated spatial-temporal driving forces TEE PRD CCD model geo-detector model. research results show following: (1) benefits have increased steadily over past 10 years, whereas eco-environment subsystem fluctuated been relatively unstable. (2) Spatially, terms eastern regions are developed than western regions, with greatest gradually shifted northeastern PRD. Economic development presented an imbalanced but stable spatial pattern. Guangzhou Shenzhen two most economically years. time, revealing pattern low environmental center high surrounding regions. (3) PRD's become integrated, moving moderate disorder high-quality coordinated demonstrating which located near Estuary, decreases further away they estuary.
