The study aimed to compare air-pollution-related information-seeking behaviour between pre- and intra-pandemic periods as well actual theoretical machine-learning-forecasted models. Google Trends search volumes (GTSVs) for keywords were collected January 2016 2022. To investigate changes that would have occurred without outbreak pandemic, Seasonal Autoregressive Integrated Moving Average (SARIMA) machine-learning models trained. Approximately 4,500,000 queries analysed. Between periods, weighted mean GTSVs changed by -39.0%. When compared forecasts, values lower -16.5% (SARIMA's error = 6.2%). Compared pre-pandemic period, number containing connected with pollution decreased. Moreover, pandemic might facilitated decrease.
