Background Digital media-use disorders (DMUD) in adolescents are a rising phenomenon associated with psychological distress, comorbid mental disorders, and high burden on affected families. Since the ICD-11 introduced criteria for gaming disorder, these can now be transferred to describe additional DMUD social media platforms streaming services. Most evidence effective treatments comes from cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). However, interventions based theoretical models their parents widely missing, leading significant clinical gap. Methods Res@t digital (Resource-Strengthening Training Adolescents Problematic Digital-Media Use Parents) is app-based translation of first model-based intervention CBT. The effectiveness will evaluated within multicenter cluster-randomized controlled evaluator-blinded pre–post follow-up trial waitlist control group (CG). Zusammenfassung Chancen und Gefahren digitaler Medien, vor allem im Hinblick auf Kinder Jugendliche, sind gegenwärtig häufiger Gegenstand von familiären, schulischen gesellschaftlichen Debatten. Digitale Plattformen können die Bewältigung adoleszenter Entwicklungsaufgaben durch Spiele, sozialen Austausch, Kommunikation, Kontaktförderung, Lernen Gesundheitsförderung unterstützen sowie zur Unterhaltung dienen. In Deutschland verfügen nahezu alle Jugendlichen über ein eigenes Smartphone. Während der COVID-19-Pandemie wurde eine Intensivierung Nutzung sozialer Medien Streaming-Angebote Adoleszente beobachtet. Der Kontakt mit altersunzensierten Inhalten wie Darstellung Gewalt, extremen politischen Ansichten Verschwörungstheorien, aber auch persönliche Angriffe Cybermobbing, ungefilterte Kontaktanbahnungen, inkl. Cybergrooming, dysfunktionale Rollenvorbilder suchtfördernde Aspekte gehen für psychische Gesundheit einher. Von Cybermobbing ca. 5 % in betroffen. Ein bidirektionaler Zusammenhang psychischer konnte gezeigt werden. Mit Computerspielstörung ist erste Digitale-Medien-Nutzungsstörung (DMNS) elfte Revision Internationalen Klassifikation Krankheiten (ICD-11) aufgenommen damit als Erkrankung international anerkannt worden. überproportional häufig betroffen erfahren Beeinträchtigungen ihrer psychischen Entwicklung ihres Funktionsniveaus. Abstract: Introduction: Early interventions targeting individuals with initial symptoms of Internet use disorders have the potential to prevent disorder escalation and reduce first symptoms. Given that disorders, including gaming social network disorder, often emerge during adolescence, early for children adolescents are crucial from both clinical public health perspectives.
